Megan Shelton, DMD
Dr. Megan Shelton earned her Doctorate of Medical Dentistry from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry in 2012. Over the last 10 years, she has proudly served as a general dentist in the U.S. Navy and in private practice both in her home state of Kentucky and here in Clairemont.
Dr. Shelton is passionate about helping patients improve their oral health in a comfortable and educational environment. Her commitment to you is to provide just that with a touch of Southern charm and hospitality.
Dr. Peter March
Dr. March grew up in rural Pennsylvania but has lived in California for many years. He joins our team with nearly a decade of experience. Patients are pleased with his gentle voice and mild manner (likened to our office’s predecessor, Dr. Emerson). His patient-focused philosophy about dentistry is just one of the things that makes him a perfect fit for our office. We are confident that he along with our team will provide you with the exceptional dental care that you deserve.

I have been coming to Bay View for a number of years and sad when Dr Emerson retired. He encouraged my family to stay with office, the staff would remain and have 2 female dentists come in. Advanced Technology for Same-Day Crowns Save Our Patients Time & Hassle
Our San Diego practice features the revolutionary in-office CEREC system which allows Dr. Shelton and Dr. March to provide patients with durable dental crowns in just a single appointment at our Clairemont office.
After treating a weakened tooth, your dentist will take a detailed digital impression of your smile, allowing you to skip the mess of traditional impressions. With these digital impressions, they can design a dental crown that will blend seamlessly with your smile. It will be fabricated from a porcelain ceramic blank that has been selected to color-match your surrounding teeth.
Your new crown will be ready in about 20 minutes. Once your permanent custom crown has been completed, your dentist will make any adjustments to ensure you are both happy with the fit, form, and function. They will then permanently affix your new crown to your treated tooth. You will leave your appointment free of discomfort with a newly restored smile you can be proud to share with the world.
